@theasherhouse: When I was a child, I was told by doctors and my parents that I’d never be able to read or write. I didn’t start talking or walking until I was 3 years old. I had to be in special education classes separate from all the “normal” kids because of my learning disabilities and severe ADHD. I’m here to tell you, to promise you that every difficulty in your life is a part of your gift to the world. I am so incredibly honored to be a part of the @natgeo team and to be able to share my story in a way that’s never been told before!
