Also why couldn’t they just diagnose me whilst they diagnosed my son. I don’t have a spare 5k to get a proper diagnosis but clearly we’re the same 😂😂😂

My mum told me for YEARS that all the “red flags” doctors were seeing in my son weren’t real because I was the exact same as a kid. That’s how I got my autism diagnosis at 38.

when my sister was diagnosed, my Dad got so angry and offended. He though the Dr was saying she was slow and he told the Dr that there was nothing wrong because she's exactly like him.

I get my asd from my dads side. That side of the family has always thought I was/an 100% normal. Likely the only reason I got an early dx is cuz my normie mom thought I was weird af. 😂😂
