How can teaching be so much fun? I love my job! In this impromptu grammar and vocabulary lesson, I taught my students the difference between a colleague and a coworker. We defined each term, did a short exercise, and then they tried to figure out which term best fit the sentences I gave them. But the twist came when I asked, “Who do you think bought me this drink—a colleague or a coworker?” Their excitement over guessing who bought the drink and what flavor it was made the lesson memorable. It was a perfect example of learning happening in a fun, unexpected way! This was a great moment for student engagement, as they walked away understanding the difference between colleague and coworker without even realizing how much they were learning. #GrammarLesson #VocabularySkills #ColleagueVsCoworker #grammar #StudentEngagement #ELAlesson #FunInTheClassroom #sonicdrink #ImpromptuLesson #wordstudy #CreativeTeaching #English #MiddleSchoolLearning #Colleague #EnglishClass #LearnWithMsJames #TeachingWithHumor #coworker #vocabulary ##ESL #ELL
