Did you manually verify the oil pressure? I hope you did not rely on the instrument cluster or sender unit.

You’re supposed to install a melling high volume oil pump along with the updated timing set and that makes the 3v bullet proofed. Iv done several. The original just needed updated! 🤦♂️
