wait, but if the airlines make the seats 'double the size' for every seat on there JUST INCASE a fatty wants to fly comfortable, do you know how many people would be unable to board for ALL those airplanes?! there would be a need for more airplanes to accommodate. the width of the seat over time has only shrunk 1/2" to 3" over the years. the pitch (leg room) is what's gotten much shorter.
