La Burqueña torta from Don Tortas in Albuquerque sure did hit the spot! It’s already packed with so much flavor, but their salsas really perfected it. I wasn’t a huge fan of the pastor taco. But the mini churros with strawberry sauce were good (they reminded me of toaster strudels). I had originally got the watermelon agua fresca which is my go-to, but everyone was getting the pistachio agua fresca, so I had to try it. It was probably one of the sweetest drinks I’ve ever tried in my life so I had two drinks and that was it. I’m just not into super sweet drinks. But everyone else was getting it, so I assume it was good. I’d definitely drive across town again just for the torta and agua fresca!
