It’s always best to give him something for anxiety and stress since the airplane noise bothers dogs. Walkies before going to the airport. Otherwise it’s all good.

Give about two tablespoons of NyQuil. Works on my grandma. No don’t really. I’m just kidding…I don’t have a grandma.

use a carrier, one with a window. reassure your dog often. ask your vet for something to help with anxiety or motion sickness.

Finally, we’ve discovered many airports, have some green outdoor space, usually by the luggage area and some even have indoor pet relief areas. Call ahead or look up the airport in advance for locatio

Use a comfortable well padded puppy tote carriage system. It creates a safe space for him that he feels is like is a warm enclosure.

Feed him the night before, don’t feed him in the morning before you fly. This will help him not have an upset stomach. Have a very blessed Christmas my friend.

Also, before your trip to the airport, take them to shopping centers, malls, anywhere where he’s allowed that will be a similar environment

bill stock :
you'll need a cage for sure and if he has a nervous temperament you can always ask your vet for a mild sedative to keep him calm on the plane.

Jedi1701G :
Seek assessment from a vet (standby calming meds). Favorite toys. love and hugs as if he was a child. Most of all, enjoy the companionship and the flights!
