I saw a thing that said the grief is like glitter. You can try and clean it all up but you will never get rid of every piece. Every once in awhile a piece will show up in a random place.

love the analogy of grief being like glitter. over time you'll clean up most of it and it'll be less of a mess but there's always a piece still there to show up when you least expect it. and that's ok

I feel this so hard. My dad died when I was 7 months pregnant. He only had his dream hot rod for 6 months - suddenly it was mine. I brought my baby home from the hospital in it, and cried so much.

Grief is like a small box with a ball bouncing around inside, as time goes on the box gets bigger but the ball remains the same. It still hits the walls of the box but less and less as time goes on
