@philipdefranco: Pakistan Developing ICBMs To Target United States #usa #america Pakistan is reportedly developing intercontinental ballistic missiles that would allow them to strike targets well beyond South Asia, including the US. With one US official saying that it is an inescapable conclusion that the program is fundamentally focused on us. With the White House saying that Pakistan is an emerging threat, and that they are raising real questions about their intentions and that they refuse to address why it’s developing these missiles. So the US slapped sanctions on Pakistan’s missile program, which Pakistan has condemned. Pakistan says the sanctions are “unfortunate and biased" and would harm regional stability by "aiming to accentuate military asymmetries," — aka India has an ICBM, and it’s not fair. The American concern comes from the fact that if Pakistan wants to nuke India, they already can - they don’t need an ICBM to do so. So there are thoughts that they could sell this technology, perhaps to Iran or Saudi Arabia. There are also worries that Pakistan is so closely connected to terrorists - that possessing such tech puts America at risk.
