If bulkhead framing was done correctly could have added about 6+ inches of height.

Rent a drywall lift. 75$ for a day, holds the sheets tight to the ceiling for you. 1000% worth the money

when you get to the drywall, rent a panel lift? so worth it. also, when working around door openings, hang the material first, then cut the opening.

From a contractor who yells at 2 men carrying the same 2x4 - you go girl keep it up ! You learn more by doing things yourself!

You can rent a drywall lift for like $50/day. Or buy a new one for like $200

Fort note is not a good game. :
I personally was very disappointed with results using sonopan. I even used 5/8 drywall and resilient channel as well as insulation in behind it all.
