@twinsdiaries: We visited a village in the Central Region of Ghana where a 39-year-old woman named, Doris Arkoh has sadly passed away just two weeks after successfully giving birth to twins. Madam Doris fell sick shortly after delivering her twins but due to lack of funds for medical treatment, she gave up the ghost. The baby twins she left behind are malnourished; they keep growing lean as the days go by because they do not get any sufficient food to eat. Also, the building in which these twins sleep is dilapidated and looks like a death trap. There is poor ventilation, stench, no electricity, and the nature of the room has posed a breeding grounds for mosquitoes. An interesting part of the story is that, Madam Doris (the deceased) already had two sets of twins before these ones to sum up to three sets of twins for the deceased.
