@halinkahart: I was told to “never” load my spine, let alone load flexion 👇 Read More 👇 For a while I didn’t 😫 & things got worse for me 🤕 LONG TERm this is not an option. You can’t just erase a human function or movement. In most cases, this only makes things worse. And the second you bend down to attempt to load the dishwasher it can set your back off 😰 Now. I’m not saying if you have a spinal injury (like I did) to load your spine in flexion… NO ❌ in this case: 1. Assess 2. Regress 3. Get support & coaching 4. Progress slowly 5. Aim for range eventually (not quickly, this took me YEARS to achieve) Personally I feel it when I DONT work Jefferson Curls & it’s key to my spinal strength & progress. But there’s so much more to the story & what you don’t see is the YEARS of work it took me.
