Ideally, it should be merit based, however, you'll find that kids of wealthy families have a huge advantage. Private tutors, guidance from already successful parents, no stress about money.. etc.

Meritorious policy is always good. Attract the best, train the best and u get results. Eg. look at Singapore, China, Korea, Japan.

seems we should be looking at the parents and schools that are underperforming in black neighborhoods. Let's be honest, studying is in Asian/ Indian cultures not Black and Hispanic cultures as a whole. improve the culture then you get better results.

Pure merit - based solely on scores, no high school names, no names put on applications, no essays, and maybe student activities.No bias.Biggest recipients of affirmative action were not AAs to begin.

Based on skill rather than secured seat based on race. Black then Asians only had to compete against each other due to limited Asian seats. Affirmative action grows real talents only! This is better !

It’s a part of project 2025. Eventually they want to kick out all the colored population from higher education and expand legacy entries which will make the elite institutions available to only the previledged wealthy white people.
