I am a hygienist and I had one girl ask if we laser gums to remove it. I told her no but also made her feel better about it. It really makes teeth look whiter. She didn't realize.

When I first started out as a DA, I had a pt with really dark gums due to EP. I inquired about it and the Dr explained this to me. Many dentists won’t take the time to educate staff or pts.
