@mersgoodeats: Peppermint bark brownie bites Welcome back to my Christmas baking series!! Today I’m showing you how to make the most delicious peppermint bark brownie bites! Try it and tag me. d’EATS -1/2 cup butter -3/4 cup sugar -2 @vitalfarms eggs -3/4 cup @bobsredmill flour -1/2 cup cocoa powder -1 tbsp instant espresso (optional) -1 tsp peppermint extract -1/2 tsp baking powder -1/2 tsp salt -1 cup melted chocolate -crushed peppermint How to: Start by preheating your oven to 350F In a small bowl sift together, your flour and cocoa powder. Once combined, add in your baking powder, instant espresso, chocolate chips, and salt. set aside. I used an @ourplace medium sauce pan on medium heat, combined half a cup of butter and 1/4 cup of your sugar until melted and combined. And a bowl mixed together, your two eggs and 1/2 cup of sugar until light and fluffy. Slowly incorporate your melted butter and sugar mixture until all is combined. Add in your sifted dry ingredients to your wet ingredients and fold until incorporated. Place batter in a lined 8 x 8 baking dish and into the oven for 25 minutes. Allow your brownies to fully cool for at least an hour before slicing. Once you’ve sliced into your squares dip each into melted chocolate then top with crushed peppermint.
