I moved here two years ago, Vietnam is very cheap to live in if you can live like a local, but most people can’t. I spend about $1500 to $2000 a month. At first people will like Vietnam food, but if you’re from the west, you will eventually start buying western food and ordering western dinners which is my biggest expense at around $600 to $700 a month.
