Ya membrane. Happens once in a while add real crushed quahog and oyster shell 🐚 for soft shell and moulting. When they drop feathers 🪶 xtra. Calcium 😊🔥🇺🇸🐚

If you feed your chickens the used shells it will help give them the calcium they need to properly produce the shells

older chickens, like after 4-5 years plus, start to lose calcium in the egg shells naturally. add oyster shells or a calcium food additive
