It probably only work on uncoated lenses, may look brighter but damaged all protection layers. A good lenses with AR (anti-reflection) or multi-coated lenses please don’t use this method.

And you’re gonna scratch the lenses by using tissue paper, which is made from wood, which will scratch the lenses. You never put anything but a silk wipe on lenses.
