i was feeding my baby and a little boy said "dad what's that baby doing?" and the dad said "that baby is getting some super food! you got the same food from your mama when you were that little too"

My sons see me nursing all the time. My teen sees how challenging it can be and I think he has even more respect for me and other mothers because of it.

I did my first public nursing tonight at the light parade. Thankfully had my hip carrier to help hold my baby up. But definitely was nervous about it. Thankfully no comments or looks !😅

I was pumping on a trail the other and was quite surprised when an older woman scurried past me but smiled and nodded. I’ve been nursing for nearly 4yrs and still pump missed feeds.

I nursed all 5 of my babies until they were close to a year old, If I see a BF’ing momma out, and we make eye contact, I always smile, to let her know she’s doing great ❤️

I dont get it. Just because it's natural, doesn't mean it needs to be done in public. I get you need to feed your baby, and as long as your chest is covered with a blanket at all times, it's fine.

I don’t see an issue is a light blanket or something is covering the mother. Yes, I said light blanket. Not suffocating…that’s silly too. But people that just have the whole boob out is ridiculous.
