@ncoutdooradventures: Update with a video that includes our story of what we did during the first few days after Helene. We rode 4 wheelers along the tracks for almost 80 hours in a week evacuating and taking care of neighbors who were stuck along our road. We got folks meds, water and food. We took a couple people to emergency clinics for care and had an elderly couple airlifted out. I Never got to thank the outside fire and sheriff's departments for coordinating that effort with a private chopper! SO THANKS 🙏! Volunteers rebuilt Whitson Branch and that helped us immensely the first month so we could get vehicles down to the end of our road. No more 4-wheeling the railroad tracks (or what was left of them) to get to people! Our necks, hips and backs were ever so grateful. #outfitters #ncoutdooradventures #helene #appalachianstrong
