The fact is you would be better off doing one prostration correctly and truly surrendering.” Allow me to continue.. If you really surrendered completely, there wouldn’t be any one left to ask questions about realization. For realization you will either surrender to Primordial Awareness completely - your very nature or you will through meditation realize the empty nature of the ‘self,’ the mind and thinking. No counting of prostrations or mantras will suffice. No progressive linear plan will actually make you a worthy vessel for realization. This is a mistake. Your true enlightened nature is available now, it will not be made more perfect by striving. The ego must be ultimately surrendered to the realization of the nature of mind soaked in a love that is imbued with compassion. Bodhicitta is the way. There is no other way.
