assuming that the partridge in the pare tree is 1 gift, you have 1 on day 1, 4 on day 2, 10 on day 3, right? not only 6? cuz you have the 4 from previous days. if not, why do you have 4 on day 2?

i dont think this is correct for example if n=3 3×(3+1)×(3+2)/6=10 yet on the 3rd day of christmas there are only 6 gifts
