I have 3 neuro divergent children. 2 ADHD and 1 on the spectrum and feel like I have always been different in ways and I have never been able to get help and I get overwhelmed so stinking fast.

parents took me to a psychiatrist when I was 14. "it's just anxiety and low self-esteem, she's fine". at 32 I was diagnosed with adhd + autism. so happy this new gen is getting the care they deserve❤️

a lot of ppl don't understand, things like ADHD, ADD, and autism present differently in girls than boys, that's why girls typically get late diagnosis

i swear this is my daughter and my son . last year i was diagnosed being audhd same time as my daughter. waiting for my son. i really want to advocate towards female recognitions because so many of us was left behind or failed diagnosis which caused unnecessary traumas 💖

One of the reasons I didn’t think I had ADHD or any of the hyperactivity side is because I’m so similar to your daughter and other ‘female’ symptoms. Getting the diagnosis and help has changed my life

My husband and daughter both have it. Both act different. But my poor daughter has sensory issues to add and it can be overstimulating. She wants to hide during big family events
