when i was younger I had to shoot the neighbors dog killed 2 calfs, they were livid with us, then when we went to town he killed my two farm dogs in revenge, he got charged and lost his gun

does your city not have a Chinese restaurant? they don't pay much for stray cats and dogs but at least it's something. I get $20 for cats and $2.75 a lb for dogs in my city

$600 for loss of live stock, that’s about right if you consider the loss of egg production and what it cost to raise them to maturity. Plus your egg production will be down due to the stress

Coming from a farm this was my dads fix for the farm dogs that unalived chickens, he use to tie the unsalived chicken to the dogs collar until it rotted off. The dogs never ever touched the chickens again. Gross but it always worked.

Having had a Yorkie in the past, they are a very tenacious breed and should absolutely not be free-roaming animals. Thanks for treating the pup with kindness; It’s just doing what it was bred to do.

I have two Yorkie’s. The neighbors are responsible for their dog. They need a fence and to be responsible. My dogs NEVER get out because of the fence.

That’s exactly how it’s handled around the world, $360-$480 for the laying hens, loss of eggs $400-$500 seems fair to me for 12 chickens. Takes 6 months of feeding to get 1st egg.

I would tell the sheriff, and make the guy pay $100/chicken and it's the last time. if he doesn't want to pay, give it to the sheriff to hold until you can go to court.
