@eddieabbew: When you have type one diabetes, your pancreas isn’t working properly. Your pancreas produces insulin. As a result there is too much glucose in your blood. Insulin is the hormone that takes the glucose out of your blood and puts it in your cells to give you energy. So, to recap, diabetes is a condition where there is too much sugar in your blood because your pancreas isn’t releasing insulin. If that’s the case, why don’t we give insulin, as well as take the sugar out of the blood by not eating sugar? The body can function on fats! If I was a type one diabetic, I’d replace all my carbohydrates with fats, eat fatty animal proteins and cut out sugar and carbs completely! The body will function on fats more efficiently than glucose. When you do that, you’ll find that you need less insulin. You’ll also feel less tired. This advice is what this lady’s son had been following and feeling amazing. I have type one diabetic members who are following the same advice, and also feeling great.
