Notice the demographic who says you don't need to bathe him 👀🫣... Definitely do it now so that when he's older, it won't be a struggle! Maybe add some treats since he was such a good boy 🥰

Unless he has fleas or there is a specific reason cats don’t need baths:) they will clean themselves. Overall very clean animals ❤️

Good job! It’s good to get them used to baths early.. they won’t need it too too often but we are def pro baths lol congrats on new baby! And don’t let anyone tell you cats can’t be trained 🙌🏾

I would limit bathing to once a month if you are going to bathe. You can cause skin issues bathing too often! You are doing so great as a cat parent though, love watching this journey!

Definitely get them used to teeth brushing. I just paid $4k to have cats teeth removed due to dental disease.

The teeth brushing is great to get him used to young! I get my cats teeth when she’s big napping and doesn’t really realize what’s happening 😂

it’s good to get him used to it, but don’t do it every week. try every two weeks or monthly (especially if he’s typically indoors). bathing a cat too much will cause skin irritation and dry skin.

for my cats i like to get them dehydrated whole fish to clean their teeth! they’re crunchy so it helps scrape off any plaque. for a lil guy his size i’d start with minnows and as he gets bigger you

I bathe mines every 3 months. He’s 2 years a old now still the same, lmaoo do not listen to these folks every 3-4 months is prefect to get them acclimated😂💙

As long as he doesn't go outside you should not have to bathe him. But all of the other grooming is important. Good job

Put a towel you don’t care about down on the bottom of the bathtub so he has something to grip. Most of the time they’re just scared because they slip a lot.
