The pumice stone works wonders — we have well water and it keeps the toilet bowl clean and smooth!

Taking the whole lid off to clean it is perfectly fine quarterly. As long as you clean it every 2-5 days. (this does not include any mitigating circumstances!! Depressed and bed bound. I don’t judge!)
