Financial literacy resources that helped me payoff $200K of debt and purchase a house in cash. I have learned so much over the years, and now have a bachelor’s degree in Financial Literacy from YouTube University! Lol. I’m working on my masters as we speak. I started consuming content from these channels daily on YouTube. @richjourney - they are absolutely my goals and online mentors. Seeing their success as a Black family gave me the courage I needed to get started on my financial journey. I watched their videos on YouTube and each one of them was eye opening and extremely instrumental on my journey. @grahamstephan - he has lots of educational videos on all things money, real estate, investing etc. daveramsey - he’s really extreme, & some of his stuff is outdated, but it helps to just listen to the callers calling in to the show to talk about debt and the solutions that are offered. He doesn’t offer any wealth building but debt payoff and others who experiences can be helpful. TikTok now is just as good as YouTube with financial content. Except it’s in shorter segments and probably easier to consume because it’s straight to the point. So that’s what I focus on now, unless I need a long video explaining something. TikTok has a powerful search engine. Use it to your advantage. IG not so much. So it’s bleh to me.
