Mega conferences are what’s killing the CFP. Don’t blow up the playoff, blow up 20 team conferences. We need 12 regional conferences with 10-12 teams. Conf Champ is CFP bound. Boom.

Literally yes 🤣 that rose bowl and last years game vs Missouri were infinitely better from a viewing standpoint than all the games on Saturday combined even with the opt outs

There’s never been 12 teams capable of winning a title in any given season. The logical jump was 6 or MAYBE 8 teams. What changed between 2010 and 2024 where kids are opting out of bowls?

They already ruined non-playoff bowl games. I’d still rather have bad bowl games and good playoff games than bad bowl games and bad playoff games which is what we will always have with the new system

Do it exactly like NFL playoffs. 14 teams. Only 1&2 get a bye. Home games throughout playoffs, except NC. Reseeding after each round.

I think the system is fine. We need to reseed teams every round and get rid of conference champion byes. Teams like boise would get thumped in the first round it kills second round matchups.

I know tenn vs osu was a top 8 match up but imo 8 team play off is the perfect number you leave out the teams like smu and Indiana and with 8 teams you can give the 4 p4 champions auto bid 3 at large
