windows defender can avoid the virus from even executing if you hadn't deactivated it, it really is a good antivirus, but once you activate the virus it's really hard to stop even with paid antiviruse

even paid anti virus wouldn't do anything after being enabled since their virus destroyed the boot files, even if threat is removed it won't restore boot files unless u fix it before reboot
