Then quickly ran them under cold water to cool down.   ⁃ In a large frying pan, heat a drizzle of oil over medium-high heat, sauté the onion, garlic, ginger, chili pepper,carrot, mushrooms, scallions and soy sauce. Then add cooked rice and mix well.  ⁃ Place 1 1/2 tablespoons of filling to the bottom of each cabbage leaf. Roll until you reach the wider part of the leaf, then fold up both sides to the center and continue rolling to the end.  ⁃ Pan-fry the cabbage rolls for 2-3 minutes each side until golden brown.  ⁃ Make a sauce: Heat oil in a saucepan, then add ginger, chilli pepper, garlic, tamari, rice vinegar, maple syrup. Let it cook for about 1-2 minutes. Mix the water with cornstarch to make a slurry and pour it into the skillet. Cook the sauce for a few more minutes until thickened.   ⁃ Pour the sauce over the cooked rolls and sprinkle with sesame seeds and greens!
