After a few weeks of sequesting myself post birth and focusing on my recovery, I was able to gear up and leave the house to go on a coffee date with my sweet three-year-old big guy. I so love and cherish these moments. I believe because I spent my first four weeks in and around my bed with my baby. I was able to really flourish and get back to normal a lot sooner than I was in my previous postpartum experiences when I didn’t take good care of myself ( I pushed myself away too soon and suffered mentally).
