My family is Polish and Christmas eve dinner is a big deal. Only fish (no other meat) stewed tomatoes, bread, and salata. That's it for dinner. So we pig out on cookies and junk the rest of the night!

it's a Catholic tradition to celebrate Xmas eve. many Polish people are Catholic as are Italians etc. I may be wrong but I believe fish is traditionally eaten.

I’ve always mixed oats with glitter to make magical reindeer dust. We sprinkle this on the lawn before my kids go to bed so Santa can see where to land. My children are 15 and 16 now, no longer believe 🥺 but still want to do it. 🥰 Xx
