Over the next month while packing up the home i thought we had built together, i had to come to grips with the thought that i would never see my best friend again as i thought that was best to go with my ex fiancée whom we was attached to. i learned after they had moved across country that he was not adjusting well and she surrendered him to foster care, without telling me… i was asked when it was already too late if i could take him, i wasn’t in a great financial situation or space to get him back. but never did i think he would just be given up like that. i spent the next few months dealing with the grief with the life i had lost and mourning the life that could never be. then a miracle happened. my uncle tracked him down across the country and my incredible family went through great lengths to fly him home and surprise me. i will spend the rest of my days to pay that love forward that my family has shown me. pets may just be chapters in our lives, but to them we’re the whole book. so make sure you give them a damn good one. i swear i will do my best to give Gojo the love he deserved from 2 parents but now an entire family support system. welcome home Gojo. #reunion #breakup #grief #dogsoftiktok #christmasmiracle #family
