£89,100 !! 🙌 That’s how much you’ve helped me give away to dreamers in 2023. To support and fund dreamers all you have to do is watch one of our videos! We have invested another £50,000 in editing and producing content to promote these dreamers to our nearly 4m followers. So - where does the money come from? I decided not to make my platform a charity. I feel charities sound cool and would make me look good if it was all a charity… But I don’t want to ask for money from people and be restricted from making bold investments in the platform. So we followed a for profit model, choosing to do good with our profit, and I am excited about this approach to business. So how have we built a sustainable way of promoting and funding people’s dreams? We use the profit we make from our videos (ad sense etc) and sponsorship from brands like Adobe, GoDaddy and Tide. Why does it matter? I think we have invented a new model for funding entrepreneurs. Social media for social good. Our community supports the dreamers. We call this new model “helping people help people” Here is the 2023 breakdown: Paul - @Framble: £8,000 George Knight: £5,000 Lara Burgess - Muddy Mindfulness: £5,000 Kellie - @Kellies K9s: £6,000 John and James - @MAKAGROUP Services: £5,000 Petra - @sweet_pees_kitchen: £4,700 ($6,000) Jake - Auto Arts: £5,000 Sophie - @I Am Denim: £5,000 Natasha - @The Vegan Patty Lady: £5,000 Sam Bryhar - Dref: £2,000 Dan - @MEXI-KIT: £5,000 Numerous other dreamers in our content receiving £100- £2000: £33,400 That’s a total of £89,100 🙏 If you want to read more about how we are helping, and the people we have helped - check out the article in the BBC. Here’s to another great year of helping people help people. ❤️🥂
