that may be for Florida but here in Michigan we have to use that feature on the dash for heat. Witch means you have to let it warm up. not all states are the same.

so the newer ones u don't have to let warm them up but the older ones u do my 88 Dodge Ram had a light on the dash u had to wait for it to turn green
