⬇️ COMMENT BELOW if the gym or fitness has changed your life!! I think a lot of people will never truly understand why the gym will always be more than just the gym. For a lot of us, it’s not just a place to get big muscles and flex in the mirror. It might be part of it, but I don’t think it’s the full story. At least not for me. It’s a place where you can kind of just empty the mind after a hard day at school or work. For the next 1-2 hours, you kind of forget about the stressors of life and it’s something you just look forward to. Life can be sporadic and inconsistent, but the gym cN be the only constant if you allow it to be. If you’re anything like me, you hated the gym and could never really commit to it. But this is where you learned the lessons of consistency and discipline. Somewhere down the line, you stuck with it and you started to see your body change. You got stronger , bigger, you lost weight.. whatever it is, you got a glimpse of what discipline and consistency can do for you. These lessons, and I’m preaching the choir here, they go far beyond the four walls of the gym. Any goal you set out, in the gym, outside the gym, as long as you fully commit to it and have the discipline to do things even when you don’t want to, you can achieve the successes you want. Your fitness journey is bigger than the workouts you do, regardless if you recognize it or not. You might be thinking that it’s really not that deep, but it is for a lot of us because it’s made us into better humans. I think there’s a majority of us that I can say this gym thing really saved us, made us better, and gave us the confidence we needed to thrive in our daily life. We’re here today not because of the perfect program or diet, but because we show up everyday and decide to stick to the grind.
