Get some metal roofing panels and mount them parallel with the joists under the deck at a slight pitch, so they catch all the water when it rains and keeps that area in front of your door dry

looks good but consider adding diagonal bracing from the beam to post adds alot of rigidity

hurricane ties joist to beam, blocking for the joists at the beam. footers for the posts. and if you want to make it have no side to side movement a 2x4 or 2 from house corner to post corner at a 45

looks much better than the original. did you add you joist hangers, post cap to girder anchors. there are these tension ties for the rim board that I have to specify when designing a deck.
