Sometimes the quickest rescues are the most rewarding. I spotted this guy on Sunday when I was saving another dog on the other side of the island. He was looking utterly miserable so we freed up some time to find him today. He lives in a little local street restaurant with 5 other dogs. The local lady feeds him. She explained he had arrived on New Years Eve when spooked by the fireworks. He never left. He was incredibly hard to groom and he left a huge bite in Valeria's hand and our clippers burnt out half way through so we had to tinish it with scissors. I don't think any awards will be won for this groom but he changed completely the second it was over. He knew we weren't trying to hurt him. Because Earth and Soup were with me we were able to build a great relationship with the restaurant owners. They have our number to call with any dog issues or for his next groom. They are dog lovers who just need some help from us. We were able to leave the good expensive meds for them also. The more people we know like this in the community the better as things grow. I think he was proud to see his little restaurant friends again with his new bandana on. He might still look a little rough around the edges but l reckon he feels like a million dollars tonight sleeping there all light and cosy🥰 #rescue #dog #dogsrescue #streetdogs
