Terrible take. We have too many enemies we keep at bay but once the US takes this stand, countries like China for example, will feel more emboldened to attack Twain because the threat of a possible war with the US is non-existent. Russia would also swarm Ukraine knowing we are not there to help.

This might sound great to those that don't look beyond the surface, but it is not a one way deal, the US is not involved abroad out of generosity, it is out of US interest, for the good of the US.
