@allisonham: I put off getting this book for so long because I wasn’t sure if it was something that would go along with my Christian faith. But the older I get, the more I see the effect my trauma has had on my life, my choices, and my personality and I knew I needed to do something. I’ve tried therapy, but I’m not a talk-it-out girly. I need to do things on my own time, in the privacy of my own space. This journal allows me the ability to do that. I’m working my way slowly through it, but it is opening my eyes to understanding how trauma has shaped me and how I can overcome the negative effects it’s had/having on my life. If you’re struggling, too, but need to try something on your own, try this journal.
