New York is the city where dreams come into fruition. There’s a reason why the saying goes “if you can make here, you can make it anywhere.” This city ain’t easy. It will drag you through the mud and test you at every turn. Random people will scream at you in the streets. You will get overcharged when eating out. People come into your life fury of fun and disappear with barely a whisper. And to even find a home to sleep in this city that never sleeps will be push you to the limit of what you thought is possible. But for those who keep their heads up high, the sky is the limit. Our skyscrapers are symbols of that perseverance. From this point of view on-top of these towers of stone and steel the chaos of the streets seem rather peaceful. All but a quiet hum is heard up here. If that isn’t a metaphor for life in this city I don’t what is. Push through the challenges that come your way and the deafening chaos will become a pleasant hum. These photo were taken from Top of the Rock NYC and the exclusive Rainbow Room.
