Hi Fluke, I work for an datacenter manufacture with over 250 Million $ worth of equipment installed in the field. each circuit holds 150lbs of refrigerant. we are constantly leak checking our circuits with traditional methods such as nitrogen and soap bubbles, dye kits or traditional sniffer style wands for the freon. I've asked this question on Fluke Australia and they guided me to your division. My question is would this tool be able to detect a pinhole leak or slightly larger on the circuit? I'd like to continue to protect our Ozone from harmful chemicals escaping into our atmosphere but the current tools/methods we use are not nearly as effective as this acoustic tool could prove to be. Will this find difficult to find refrigerant leaks? does the machine need to be off? or can the fans continue to run? please reply as this is a potential game changer and if it is I'd be happy to share with all my fellow Hvac mechanics. I work in Texas and also frequently in Montreal and Toronto. please advise. thank you
