This is actually a myth, and you will not see good gains lifting fasted either. 😳 What why???? Because when you eat protein and healthy carbs an hour before you lift, the carbs turned into glycogen and store in your muscles. And guess what? That gives you tremendous strength/ pushing power which in turn leads to better gains. 💪💪 Let me ask you, have you ever had a cheat meal and then go lift later that day or the next day and you feel so much stronger? 💡Yes, it’s a real thing. Those extra carbs make you stronger. That’s why it’s best to plan a cheat meal before you lift or the night before you lift. I usually plan mine before a leg day, and it helps so much. The body does not function well with no gas in the tank. You’ll be tired, weak and feeling like you really really don’t wanna be there. 🤪 So be sure to eat a decent amount of food an hour before you lift, and within an hour after completing your lift.
