We all go through it. 🙌 You are not alone. ❤️‍🔥 (part 7.) “Do not fear failure, but rather fear not trying.” — Roy T. Bennett 👉 It's normal to struggle starting because you are overanalyzing. Analysis paralysis happens to us all, we think of too many factors at once which can kill your creativity. Try to think only about what matters now and just fake it till you make it. 🙌 👉 It's normal to not know when to stop optimizing. It's very common that we optimize too much because we want to bring the best quality possible. 👉 It's normal to feel dumb during code reviews. When being in a code review you are vulnerable, so of course you can feel dumb when a simple mistake is found. But embrace it, that's where code reviews are for! 👉 It's normal to have productive days where nothing actually got days. These days may feel worthless.. But actually they are really valuable! It's not always that we can show progress. Sometimes progress happens in the background too. 😉 👉 It's normal to deal with unclear shifting requirements. Often stakeholders don't know what they really want as well. So just try to listen closely and gather feedback in time. 🙌 👉 It's normal to write functions and forget to call them sometimes. Some times we are so much in the zone that you create functions thinking you also calling them. Only to realize a few hours later you never did... 👉 It's normal to fix something but not knowing how you actually fixed it. Some times we fail attempting to fixing something a few times so we get in a survival mode to try just a few random things not knowing what you did. 👉 It's normal to do senior level work without the title. Unfortunate truth but in this industry you have to prove your seniority to actually get the title. So we all go through phases where we feel undervalued because we didn't get the title.
