My husband works a lot, sometimes 7 days a week, we ALWAYS go gift shopping for the kids straight out of work! Then he goes after work on his own time with his work friends to buy my gifts 🥹🤍

nah I agree. even if he didn’t have the time to shop, I think he should still inquire or discuss the gifts with the partner at some point before the kids open gifts. that would personally bother me too

i think it depends on your husbands work schedule, this app fails to show the sacrafice it takes , most of the time to be a SAHM = your spouse looses TIME to do anything else

What about for those who are separated? I get my kids gifts and my BF also gets them gifts but we dont tell share what we got them. I dont really see the problem. I guess if the mom goes over budget😅

My dad waited in line on Black Friday in like 2009 for the new Nintendo ds. He was such a good dad, he unfortunately passed in 2016 but I will never forget how much he cared ❤️

i get it, sometimes one parent may have a busy work schedule etc. BUT, that parent should still know what their kids like, what their kids are receiving, they can still help with wrapping/set up etc!

My dad never shopped for a gift for me my whole life it was always my mom. He never gave my mom gifts either she would always put gifts for herself under the tree so nobody would think anything.
