@morganzuhmakes: I’m tiling our kitchen backsplash! I picked up a really pretty 3”x12” blue tile & instead of doing a traditional horizontal staggered subway style pattern.. I decided to do something I knew would be tricky, but hopefully worth the work.. a herringbone pattern! I spent a couple hours on day 1 laying about a third of the tiles. There were soooo many cuts. I went back and forth between the wet saw and the manual tiles cutter about 200 times. #diybacksplash #herringbonebacksplash #diykitchenrenovation #backsplashideas #bluebacksplashtile #doityourself #kitchenmakeover #diytilebacksplash
Thank you for removing the 6” builder splash, it looks great.

A slide in range would make it pop that much more with more exposed tile

If you have a corner start there then work your way out. We have this tile but the lighter color. It was a nightmare

I wanted a harringbone pattern backsplash so bad. Our contractor was going to charge us soooooo soooo much more to do it. I really wish we would have just paid for it.

Just a thought to make it easier next time, place all the tiles on the floor, make us stencil on your backsplash, and trace it on the tiles, cut them all two size and then glue

Why bother with that cheap microwave over the stove combo?
