@newcastleuni: This year, an exciting chapter between our archaeology students and Historic England at Birdoswald Roman Fort in Cumbria came to a close, after an amazing and vigorous five-year-long project. Birdoswald Roman Fort is based at the Cumbrian end of Hadrian's Wall and is open for visitors on weekends between now and the end of March 2025.
