@jonopandolfi: Our Fish Tray is made via a series of unique steps that we don’t use for a lot of other shapes. First we pug clay into logs, which are then rolled out into sheets. These sheets are smoothed and cut before being formed around a template. We have a few custom tools that help us cut out the rim perfectly. Before firing, each piece is trimmed by hand. Then, after an initial bisque fire the Fish Trays are stamped with our logo, glazed, and then fired again. The Fish Tray is a hospitality-exclusive shape, but you might be able to find one (along with a multitude of other hospitality exclusive shapes, colors, and classic designs) at our Studio Sale on the first Friday of every month.
