I had that hair in the 90’s. All I used was Suave mousse, air dried it, de-crunched after dry. Perfect every time! It doesn’t work anymore 🤷🏻♀️

That’s how my curls always look lol and it’s because it’s actually effortless i wash the hair use a little oil and leave in conditioner and that’s it 😜

I like this style of curls way more than the super defined 'juicy' ones. That style always looks kinda greasy and flat to me 🫣 I prefer the volume that comes with a bit of frizz!

I actually do have Carrie curls! 2C-3A, fine but high porosity. No gel means next day curls are well, straight. No mousse means curls are limp with no volume at the roots. 😭
